Münsterland
There are many sights to see near Münster. Nordkirchen Castle, also known as the Versailles of the Münsterland, is an impressive baroque castle and a popular tourist destination. Also worthy of special mention are the Rieselfelder with their unique biotopes for a wide variety of bird species, which are also available as resting and breeding places for migratory birds, and invite your for a stroll.

The city of Osnabrück, just a short drive from Münster, offers an impressive old town with numerous historic buildings, including Osnabrück Castle and the Heger Tor (Waterloo-Tor).
